Peer Review Process
General Principles Each manuscript submitted to SEET Journal undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality and integrity. The journal employs a Double-Blind Peer Review system, where the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential throughout the process.
Review Stages:
-
Initial Desk Review: Every submitted manuscript is first screened by the Editor for its suitability with the journal's focus and scope, adherence to the author guidelines, and a plagiarism check (minimum requirement).
-
Peer Review Assignment: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent experts (Reviewers) in the relevant field.
-
Review Criteria: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.
-
Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision:
-
Accept Submission (without further changes)
-
Revisions Required (minor or major revisions)
-
Resubmit for Review
-
Decline Submission (Rejected)
-
-
Final Proof: Once accepted, the manuscript will undergo copyediting and layout before final publication
